Hello friend,
This is the first blog post on this little website of mine.
Although a part of me wants to dive straight into some heavy topics, like the meaning of life or our place in the grand scheme of the universe.
I want to take this moment instead, to share with you why I’m here, typing these words, and what I hope to bring to you through this blog.
So, here’s the deal: I’m a curious soul. Always have been, and always will be.
I get this urge to dig into things that provoke my interest, whether that be a random fact, a deep concept, or just something that makes me go, "oh, that’s cool.”
Once I learn something, it sticks with me, roaming around in my head.
About 6 or 7 years ago, I discovered my love for writing.
Not only that, but I’m the fact that I'm pretty decent at it too (at least that's what my teachers and students have led me to believe).
And so, I thought, why not combine my love for learning with my forte for writing?
That's what I did, and that’s how this blog came to be.
Many of the topics you’ll be seeing here are ideas that have been stuck in my brain for years, now polished up and ready to share.
If you’ve made it this far on my site, you probably know I’m a data science student (at least while I'm writing this of course).
Don’t worry, I’m not going to bore you with endless talk about Machine Learning, NLP, or Algorithms (though I could, and I probably will at some point).
This blog isn’t just about my field of study, it’s about all the things that fascinate me. And trust me, that’s a long list.
I’m a huge fan of Russian literature, especially Dostoevsky.
I know, I know, some people call him gloomy (short for depressing), but I think he’s a genius who saw straight into the human soul.
I’m also fond of philosophy, psychology and history.
These subjects sort of weave together in ways that surprise me, revealing patterns I never saw coming.
But what truly draws me in? People. The way we think, act and make choices.
Why do we do what we do? What’s going on in our heads? It’s like a puzzle that I just can’t stop trying to solve. (And yes, I might’ve just overused the word “do” there, my bad.)
As you explore the posts I’ll be sharing on here (fingers crossed I keep this up), my goal put simply is to tickle your curiosity.
I want you, somewhere along the line to stumble across something new, something that makes you pause and think, “Wow, I never thought about it like that.”
I’m not here to preach or tell you what to believe.
I’m just sharing what I’ve learned, what I’ve pondered, and what I find endlessly fascinating.
In a world where AI is everywhere and words can feel like they’re losing their magic, I still believe there’s something special about a good story, a thoughtful book, or, in this case, a blog post. My blog post.

There's something I should mention, when I first considered sharing my writing, especially the pieces that hint at who I am as a person, a quiet thought stirred:
"You know this will let people see you, see what truly lies beneath all of that personna you've lived with for years and tried to not to show off? You know that, right?."
Being the private person that I am and like to be.
This thought unsettled me, though I’m not entirely sure why (will talk about this in a later post InchAllah ).
But now? I’ve shifted, and I’m at ease letting that curtain part just a bit.
So, feel free to peer into the fragments I will leave on these posts, and make of them what you will.
